I finally had the lightning wheels put on my F150 Supercrew
I replaced my stock wheels and my 255/70/16 tires with the SVT 18" lightning rims and Road Huggers 285/60/18 tires.
I really like how it turned out, just like the picture I had in my mind. Tell me what you think...

Thanks guys for the responses...I am very happy with my selection.
Hey patman, are you going with the chrome wheels? The previous post can give you an idea of what your truck will look like with those rims since your truck is the same color and style. I think silver and chrome lightning rims will look good with that color of truck.
btw other that my speedometer (behind 2-3mph) anyone know what else is off now that I have larger rims and tires?

You're speedometer will be off about 3% at 60 MPH you will be going 57.3 mph. Mine is about the same amount off in the opposite direction. You can live with it or have it changed through tuning. If you go to 10 10 tires they have a size calculator just Google tire and go down the first page and then go to technical dept. The calculator is located there. the tire is about 1.5 inch taller than stock, although there can be a difference from brand to brand. By the way I bought them from this guy, he has the best price and excellent service, the wheels were double boxed and original Ford wheels chromed. I was completely satisfied! http://www.buyfordracing.com/index.php

your ABS could be slightly off calibration. ABS is often overlooked when changing tire size. But ive been told that the computers have a bank of about 7 common tire sizes/diameters in the PCM, it just needs to be selected. So if you'd like to try to call your dealership and see if this is correct. It should be $70-90 (for one shop hour) to get into the truck with a scanner and select the tire size.
If i get the wheels, it will probably be 01-02 in silver. But at this point id take any of them. But my personal preferance is 01/02 > 03/04 > 99/00 wheels.
