Road/Tire Noise w/ BFG A/T KO's
Road/Tire Noise w/ BFG A/T KO's
Hey guys, lately I guess for about a month or so I have noticed alot more road noise out of my BFG's. I took a trip this past weekend, about 700 mile round trip, and the best way to describe it is like a "drone" sound. I have BFG KO's 265/70/17 and I always keep them between 40-45 psi. I have had them a little over a year now (about 12k miles) and rotate them regularly
Now that I'm back from my trip, I notice it all the time now. It's like that sound is programmed in my head everywhere I go. I had the truck alligned when the tires were installed last year. Also, there really isn't any vibration to speak of, just that damn drone sound. Any thoughts?

I have same tires, same size, I run 40 psi. Mine have gotten louder as they wear. Many members have said that the AT/KO's tend to get noiser as they wear. I would not worry about it unless you start seeing some abnormal wear patterns. I have 25K on mine. Mine started getting louder around 15K. I rotate mine every 5K. Hope this helps.
