I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I just put a set of 315/70/R17 Nitto Dune Grapplers on my truck and was wondering if I needed to do a gear switch...if so...what would you all recomend...? My truck is an 04 F150 4x4 STX 4.6L. I have a friend at work that swears I need one but it seems like he talks a whole lotta crap so I figured this would be the best place to come.

 

You don't have to, but it would be a good idea. I'd go with 4.56's since you have a 4.6.

Ok, any idea on how much it would run having the gears switched out? This is my first truck I had a lil accord before this and I have no idea on performance upgrades. Oh and how the crap do you all get them pics to show up right under ur posts?
