wandel need help...should i get new 16x10 or leveling kit

i have a 2003 2wd f150 regular cab with a 3 inch body lift and 285/75-16. i was wondering if the 16x10 would be fine to go ahead and put on or should i get a good leveling kit first??? i want my tires have wider wheels simply bc with the stock wheels they look too narrow. what do yall think i should do first get a good level kit or go ahead with the wheels????my truck looks just like wandells at stock height...and would it not look good with those wheels not quite being level...i think it would be fine without a level it maybe an inch lower in frontany input needed thanks

Dude, forget the leveling kit... Just crank up your torsion bars to level the truck out. It's really easy, all you need is an 18mm socket and a breaker bar. Than, just spend like 50-60 bucks on an alignment. Paying like $200 bucks for a free mod is insane!

Your truck would look great with the 285's and 16x10's with or without a leveling kit. You will have to trim your front bumper's lower plastic valance for clearance either way with a 10 inch wide wheel.
However, take time to consider everything. What other mods do you plan to do to your truck? If you ever install a full suspension lift or even lift spindles on your 4x2, the front track width will be increased a few inches. This will cause a 10 inch wide wheel to stick way outside the front wheelwells. This is why most lifted 4x2's run 8 inch wide wheels.

im not planning on doing any suspension lift or anything. i was just wanting wider wheels for my tires. i was just wondering if my truck would look better with a leveling kit before the wheels
