Goodyear Eagle Gt Ii 275/60/17

I have an 06 F150 2WD reg cab with factory 17 x 7.5 aluminum rims.
Will the GOODYEAR EAGLE GT II 275/60/17 fit without any problems?
I think it's about 1 1/2 wider than the stock 235/70/17.

Hey Ray, I can tell you what I know in my research this last week for tires. I have an 01 with the stock wheels being 17's. The tires I have on there I believe are original and are 255/65/17. The guy at a very reputable tire shop said that the 275/60/17 are extremely close and would work perfectly. I asked him about the speedo difference, he said these two sizes are almost identical, and I shouldn't notice any difference. I don't know what my stock chrome 17's run in the width, but that sounds like what they probably are. I hope that helps. I am trying to find the right tire for mine as we speak too. I am going with the 275/60's are they are more options in that size vs. the size I currently have. Laterrr, Sean

Yes I have noticed this *** well but I sure don't see many people using the 275/60/17 on these F150 forums. Seems like everybody is more concerned about filling up there wheel well than keeping the stock diameter which I think might be important if it came down to a warranty issue.

That size is almost identical to stock. You are correct, about 1.5" wider, though. I believe all stock 17" rims are 7.5" wide whcih is on the low limit for that tire size but should work fine.

I don't care for that tire, though. Search www.Discouttiredirect.com and www.tirerack.com for tires availible in that size and relative pricing.
