quick question

If i were going to run 35" BFGoodrich Mud Terrains under a 6" suspension lift, would i need to purchase new rims or could i use the stock 17" rims that came on the truck?

Depends on tire width. Personally, I like the way 12.5 to 13.5 wide tires lay out on a 10" rims.

Also, some lifts do not allow you to use the OEM wheels (most do).

If I had a 6" Fabtech suspension lift with 35 x 12.50 inch tires would I be able to use my stock 17" rims? Because i know you can order the tire to fit a 17" rim, but i don't know if the tire width will mess things up.

I have talked to some tire dealers and they say my stock 17" rim will fit a 35 x 12.50 inch tire. But some say that you can't use stock rims with certain types of lift kits. Is there anyone that can name a few of these brands of lift kits?
