305/70r17?

I have an '05 FX4 w/ 2.5 spacer. With that will I be able to fit the 305/70R17? Will I have clearance? The measurement is Overall Diameter: 33.81 in. I have 275/60R18 right now and that's 30.99 in. Let me know, thx ya'll!

You can fit them easily if you use and OEM wheel.

I doubt it unless the aftermarket wheel is almost identical to your OEM specs.

2005FX4, I would stick with the 18's on your '05, aftermarket 17's may not clear your brake's.

I doubt a 315/70-17 tire will fit with a 17x9 inch wheel. Also, PawPaw is right. Ford changed brake calipers sometime during the 2005 model year. This is causing fitment problems with some (but not all) aftermarket 17 inch wheels. Personally, I'd go with a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) tire on an 18x9 inch aftermarket wheel with 5.5 or 6 inches of backspacing.
