Bought new wheels today!

They should be here friday.
Gear Alloy Double Pumps 17x9 wrapped in 315/70/17 goodyear wranglers.

Bought them from a local truck shop, dont know the offset but the guy said he'd make sure they set flush. i'll try to find out. Paid $1700 mounted balanced out the door.

the manager at the shop said they wouldnt rub so lets hope they dont. you had the same tire size?

Yes I did but in a BFG AT 315x70x17 on 17x9 with 5" backspace wheels, only rubbed at low speeds when turning. They hit on lower wheelwells. The 35's will work better on the stock wheels. Look at my gallery that show's some pics when I had them on.

thanks for the info. oh well, if they rub its the shops fault and they can swap them out. You have an FX4? i did look at your gallery but i forgot that fast.

No, I have a Lariat. When you get them mounted make some hard turns going forward and then backwards up and down an incline, if they rub it will probably be on the lower wheelwells. If your wheels are 8" wide you may have at better chance not to rub. The look's are almost worth the minor rubbing, but think twice before doing any rough offroading!
