It's legit, there are alot of members on here with the AS. The 2" is a good choice.

The powdercoating is up to you, some don't go with it as it's tucked up under the strut and won't be seen. But it's personal preference.

For some reason my 2004 4x4 had a real high rear from the factory, the 2 1/2" Daystar leveled it perfectly. Have about 20k miles with no wear problems, but they are harder to install then the Autosprings.

great thanks for the info. since i went with the 2" auto spring, i am going to shoot for 34" x 12 because i have 275/55R20=32 x 10.83 x 20 on my truck right now and that just doesnt cut it

Check out my specs in my sig. I agree on getting the 1.5" AAL...I have had two different leveled F150's and the nose was up too high on each one. This setup you are getting works well for me, but I have OEM 20" wheels. The backspacing makes a difference, as mentioned.

What make/model of wheel are you getting? The other tires I have looked at and will get are either the aforementioned BFG AT 285/65/20 or the GY Silent Armor 305/60/20.

Where are you in MI? Take and post pics when done!

i have eagle 20 x 8.5 with 6" of backsapcing wheels. i was looking at the toyo open country mud terrains...i have heard nothing but good about them.
i would like 34's but i dont want to EFF up my truck by trimming. i may just have to go with 33's...also, i dont think toyo makes a 34...
yes i am in michigan. where are you from in michigan?
ill post some pics after i get the leveling kit on but it may take me a while because im busy as heck this weekend and im not sure how to post pics....
ill figure it out
thanks

I knew you were in MI, but where? I'm from the UP, as you can see on-screen in the upper right corner.

Not sure if you'd have rub issues with the 34" tires that I have. If you want wider tires, these are only 275, but the OEM wheel width helps make them fatter.

For pics, you need to join a photo hosting site like photobucket.com and go from there. It's pretty easy.

nd041189,

Feel free to PM or email me if you need help with pictures. I can walk you through photobucket's process quite easily as it's the one I use.
