Calling Milo99
The wheels are 18x9.5. They have 4.5" backspacing. They do rub on the back of the wheel well before getting to full lock (on the side closest to the door). I lost about the last quarter rotation on the steering. After that you can hear the ***** rubbing so I would stop. Thats the only time it would rub. Wasnt too bad, I just got use to it and learned how drive with it. Still did quite a bit playing offroad with out any probllems as long as I didnt have to make a tight u turn. I actually just got rid of them this weekend and got some 35s put on with the lift. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I thought you would but wasnt sure. I really like the look of the truck and i really dont have the money for a 6 in lift so i guess im just going to have to stay with 12.50's. I have seen many members running 13.50 iroks with just a leveling kit!!! Do you happen to have any pictures with the new lift and tires? Thanks
I dont have any pictures yet. Ive been out of town since Dec. I ordered everything and my brother in law took it to the shop for me. Ill try to get them to take some pics and email them to me. I have 10 days till I can see my truck.....its killin me.
Hey Milo, how noisy are those Claws? I am thinking about getting a set because I love the aggressive tread pattern, but they've got to be noisy as hell. Also, what kind of tread life should I expect? Your truck looks bad ***. I can't wait to see it with the lift.
I cant really tell you how long the tread will last. Ive had them for about a year and during that time I put less than 5k miles on them. I bought a 4 banger to drive to work, (62 miles one way), so the truck only goes fishing and to the ranch, kinda like a weekend driver. As far as right now they dont show any wear. They arent nearly as loud as I thought they would be. I had some BFG mudders on my last truck (01 screw) and they were WAY louder. Im talking about the outside noise not what you hear in the cab. I really like them.
