Was going to get 24's but....
A few things...
1.) Matt is spending Canadian Dollars. $15,000 CDN = 12,761.56 USD
2.) Yes, I have seen rims this expensive (Anyone remember the ORIGINAL Spreewells? Not the imitations, the originals). The Rims alone were $2,500 each. Wrap some tires around them, tax, mount & balance, and you'd be a damn-fool to skip the road-hazard warranty, and you'd shoot over $12,000. But, cost depends on the manufacturer. I was watching Unique Whips the other night, when LeBron James had an H2 decked out, and they put 30" ASA's on there. They looked good on his truck, but I'd bet a set of 30" Lexani's would have been a HELL of a lot more expensive. Not that LeBron needs to cut corners with a net worth of over $100,000,000.00.
I put a set of Pirelli Scorpions (275/55/20) on my truck, and I was friends, good friends with the guy at the counter (We've watched each others kids before, kinda good friends) and those tires still hit me for $885.00. Unless tires have gone down in price (And, the Pirelli's were far cheaper than Toyo, Michelin, Kuhmo, etc..) I find it hard to believe you can get larger sizes, especially 26's for less than $1,500 (And that may be pushing it).
My friend put a set of Asanti's on his BMW, 19", at $1,200 per wheel. He was out of right at $5,000 just for the rims. He kept the factory 19" tires. Imagine if he'd put some sick tires on it too... Good, Z-rated tires can cost more than a wheel.

My friend, and the stars you see on Unique Whips are millionaires. They can afford to spend money like that, and not flench. He dropped $5,000 on those wheels just as easily as I'd walk over to the soda machine and get a Coke. And this is with wife approval, and you know most women wouldn't condone spending that kind of money on wheels... If you think so, you are not married- or you are stinky rich and your wife is property.
The VAST MAJORITY of the world, and I'd say 99% of F-150 owners, don't have it like that.

Oh yeah, and grow up.
The point was, it is possible to spend $12,000 of rims & tires...
I wouldn't, and- I couldn't- but, it is possible. I don't know this dude Matt, or you, but seriously- I don't care what kind of forum it is- if someone were to get a set of Asanti wheels, especially in 26's, it could cost them 5 figures.
I'm still waiting to see Matt's wheels, aside from that one pick.

Personally, I don't give a crap what people spend on rims, it's their money... Let him spend $60,000 on them, so what? I'll still get 8 hours sleep tonight. All I said was that I (emphasis on me) couldn't personally justify spending what I thought was about $10,000 for those rims, when my 2006 F-150 SuperCrew XLT, which MSRP'd for $31,000 only cost me $21,000.00 out the door. All I said was it's POSSIBLE to spend that much on rims... Whether Matt did or not, means nothing to me.
Every time I get gas, or go through a drive through I get thumbs up, and "Hey, that's a nice truck" comment & compliments with my XLT, Supercrew on 20's. Not that I'm looking for attention, the truck just happens to get noticed...
Make no mistake, I'm not defending Matt, or his crushingly heavy wallet. There's always someone with more than you, and someone with less than you... BFD.
I don't care one way or the other. I just came here to see some sweet wheels on some F-150's, and HOPEFULLY, on an F-250, Crewcab, 4 x 2, lowered...
You guys turned this into a *****-measuring contest.

One thing's for certain, that's joker is sick with those wheels...

I'm not big into racing stripes, and havign trucks slammed to the ground, but admittedly, it looks sweet sitting like that.
Imagine that in black...
I think ALL of you are missing the point: the point is that Matt kid was a complete douche bag and he did F150online a favor when he removed the picture of his face, and stopped posting his non-sense!
So long, sucker

I dont want to get dragged down in this, but a buddie of mine just bought 30's for his hummer and those rims and tires ran him $17,600 rims and tires ( DUB GANJAS and the new Pierlli 30"tires) so if someone bought 26's for 15K id say ouch. But hey to each his own, If you got money to spend like that whatever, my buddie just so happened to sign a record deal and has more money than since at this point. but what can ya do.
