I'm planning on order wheels and tires soon. I was wondering can i fit 17x9 mickey thompson classic 2 on a 06 fx4. The wheels have 5.5 backspacing and the tires are 12.50's. How much will the tires stick out. If any one has pictures of this setup please post time.

 

A 9 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing will stick out 1.5 inches farther than your OEM wheels. As long as the MT's will fit over your brakes you should be fine with a 33x12.50 tire.

 

does anyone know if they will fit over a 06 brake?

 

Ford increased the diameter of the brakes in 05', it would be a good idea to check first if possible. They fit on my 04' with no problem.
