265/75/16 Tire Recommendations

I am getting ready to install some type of lift (preferabbly 2" spacers of some sort) in the front of my 99 2wd Scab. I was told that 265/75/16s would clear fine with this lift and would be fine in the rear clearance wise (though I really want to raise the rear an inch or so). I'm not looking for any real aggresive tread pattern or anything as the truck will never see off road. So I'm looking for the best bang-for-the-buck tire I can find that still has an aggresive-type look. Something like the BFG All Terrains or something like that. So, got any suggestions for me!? Thanks in advance!!

You can fit that size without a lift, but I agree that they will look better with a lift. I'd suggest the BFG AT KO's, Nitto Terra Grapplers or Toyo AT's.

Thanks wandell! I think I've decided to go with a 2" spacer only and leave the back alone. What would be the largest tire I could fit without issues? I would really like to fit one size larger than a 265/75 on there, closer to 33". If that would require a 1" block, I'd be OK with that. I just want it much more level than it sits now.

You could fit 285/75-16's (33x11.50) if you use the OEM or 16x8 (with 4.5 inches of backspacing) inch wheels.

My OEMs are 16x7s though I believe. So I probably couldn't fit a 285 on there, correct? It would be awesome if I could!!! This isn't my truck, but these are the wheels that I have.

i have 265/75/16s on mine right now. and they fit just fine. you can fit up to 285s on a stock with no spacer, but there will be a little rubbing.

Most everything I have seen recommends a minimum wheel width of 7.5" for a 285 series tire. I'd like to be 1000% certain that they would fit my wheel with no problems before I ordered them. I've got 255/70s on their now, so even the 265/75s would give me a much netter appearance and about .75" of lift.
