Minor rubbing with new tires

I just had some Kumho 325 60 R18's put on the factory wheels of my 2005 F150 FX4 and there is slight rubbing on the control arm at full steering. I have seen some posts about this but really didn't see any definitive answers. I was wondering what my options are going to be. Will this cause me any problems down the road if i am just carefull to not take it to the full steering threshold whenenver possible or will i need to look into some wider wheels.

I'm not sure this is possible with the steering in our trucks. But there are rack limiters used on Fox bodied Mustangs to restrict how far in you can turn the wheels. If there's someone out there who makes rack limiters for these trucks, that would solve your rubbing problem.

Here's a set for a late model Mustang, http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...tegory=MSTEER9

Hope this helps

wider wheels will just make it rub more on the font valence of the bumper

Are you fitting them with no lift. I was thinking about the same size tire with a 2in leveling kit.

if its just minor rubbing nothing to worry about it aint gonna hurt nothing if it just really bothers u try some wheel spacers and that will cut it down to less than it is now or none
