Matching tires with rims.
Hello all, well i have decided on new wheels and tires but i have one concern
the rims i like are 20 X 8.5 and i want to put either nitto terra or toyo a/t
305 55 r22 tires on them. the manufactures web site says i need a 20 X 9-10 rim.i have called a couple tire shops and they said it would be fine to use the 20 X 8.5. is this true. anyone thanks

You can go with 305/55/20 or 285/55/20 The 285's will most likely be BFG AT's. You can go with either Toyo, or Nitto TG AT's if you go the 305 route. Either will work fine on a 20x8.5 wheel.
