31/10.5's fit a stock 4x4 with no problems. Long ago I ran that size on 15x8 wagon wheels with no problems at all. Might have even been 11.5 in width, been too many years/trucks since then.

My dad has 31/10.5/15's on his 94 flareside 2wd, and that looks *****! Yours can benefit from alot bigger tire without the lift, maybe a 33/12/15 or ???? I would do the lift and maximize tire size, maybe then a 35 and 12.5" wide or wider.

yea.. i wish i could get bigger tires.. but the guys at the local tire shops tell me if i stay with the stock rims.. which i want to do.. im on a budget i cannot fit bigger then 10.5's on the rims becuase if you go anymore there will be too much crowning over the rim.. and the tires i want only come in 35x10.5x15 and 31x10.5X15 and the 31's are waay cheaper... so i just thought id go with it.. but do yo guys suggest the 4' with the 35s??? will the straight 6 have enough jam to spin the 35s???? all opinions welcome!!!
