I am looking at getting new tires. 2004 F-150 Scab XLT 4x2. Want to keep the OEM 17" wheel. I am looking at either 285-70-17; 295-70-17; or 305-65-17. (BF goodrich AT KO) What am i able to put on without a leveling kit? and also what can i put on with a 2" AS leveling Kit? Thanks in advance for the help.

 

I believe you can fit all of the above tires with a leveling kit using the OEM wheels. Without it, you can probably fit the 285's.

 

Thank you for the answeres. I have gotten the oppertunity to purchase a set of 315-70-17 tires from a friend. Will they fit on my truck with a 2.5" leveling kit. thanks in advance.

 

No. You would need at least the leveling kit and a 3 inch body lift to fit 35's. Or just add a 6 inch lift.
