305 40 r22 terra grapplers

hey everyone got a 2005 stx 4x4 getting ready to put new w/t on it
doing as 2.5 leveling kit. going with 22" wheels but having trouble picking tires. my tire guy is warning me that anything over 33" will likly rub.
has anyone seen terra g in the 305 40 22 size really like the look of that tire
bit weary of the side wall being to low. other opt is perilli scopion atr
305 45 22 not as aggressive. or 325 50 22 terra or open country that are
34"-35" high. any suggestions of pics of 305 40 22 terra grapplers.
thanks.
plus got ats fender flares and want a tire that will fill them 1"1/4 more coverage then stock.

The 305/40/22 is a bit short even with an aggressive 2/5 drop...sidewall-wise. the 305/45/22 is about right at stock height, so I would think with a spacer you should be perfect with 325/50/22s.

I agree with your tire guy. As a general rule on the new 4x4's with a leveling kit you can fit 35's using the OEM wheels or 33's with an aftermarket wheel. If you want a 22 inch wheel with an off road tire, I'd suggest a 305/45-22, which works out to be a 33x12.5-22 tire. What do you think about a 305/55-20 (33x12.50-20) tire? THe taller sidewall will make the tire appear larger.
