last issue is fixed woohooo
well I finally got around to fixing the last issue with my 4.6 f150
the previous owner cut the drivers side ebrake cable so I picked up a replacement as well as a set of brake shoes and spring kit. pulled it all apart no major problems. however I was surprised to see that the drivers side brakes were totally shot while the passenger were like new. I am guessing the previous owner was riding around with the brake seized for quite a while before cutting the cable. Heres where things got a bit wierd. I installed the new shoes but the autoadjster cable was snapped and the second piece to it with the spring magically disapeared. I have no idea where it could have gone being the drum is pretty much sealed. so I went to advance and picked up a new autoadjuster kit and all is well now. kinda annoying but alls well that ends well. just another one of those hour jobs that turns into 4 hours with runnign for parts and stuff.
