Opinion / experience needed.
Anyone with an insight please respond,
I'm currently running the 295/70/17 (33x12) Nitto Terra Grapplers on my '04 XLT 4x2 w/2.5" leveling kit. The tires are currently mounted on factory 17x7.5 XLT wheels without any problems. I am looking to keep the same tires and upgrade my wheels.
I'm in favor of the XD Diesel.
It is offered as a 17x9 6x135mm wheel with 5" backspace / 0 offset.
So my question. In your opinion will this wheel work for me with these tires? Current clearance on the factory wheels is very narrow at the upper control arm (less than .25in).
If not then what should I be looking for as far as width/ backspacing/ offset.
