quick question.. if my tire is 3" taller.. does that make my truck 3" taller or just the tire like if I go from 235/75/15 to like 31/11.5 its 3" taller 1.5" wider.. would i get 3" lift out of that for my truck in theory?

 

I went from a 31 to a 33 and my truck stands 2'' taller.

 

If your tire is 3" taller you would raise your truck 1.5" You only gain half the increase in tire height in actual truck height.

 

Your axle is center on the tire, split the difference, you will gain 1.5". Not all 3" will be on the bottom............

yah figures.. ima get some pictures.. I went from like 235/75/15 to a 31/10.5/15 big difference.. look at my sig right now and ill put a before and after how much better it looks. makes the truck stand more bold and looks like its buffer :P
