i did try to find my answer but couldnt come up with much and i just want to be sure so id like to to know i have an 02 f150 4x4 supercab and so on i have my torsion bars cranked up almost the whole way my truck factory has P265/70/17 on it and i was wondering what the biggest and cheapest off road type tire i could go i like the nitto and through doing some homework price doesnt seem bad but i am open to any tire and size. thanks oh awesome sight love it i found it at work i work in parts at keystone ford here in pa and i got everyone i work with hooked on this site but ive said to much thanks for helpin the new guy im trying to learn all i can
Welcome to the site. The largest tire you can fit is a 315/70-17 (35x12.50). You can only fit these by using your OEM 17x7.5 inch wheels. You will have some rubbing on the frame at full steering lock. I personally would not go that large unless you plan on a lift kit in the near future. I'd stick with something like a 285/70-17 (33x11.50), a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) or a 295/70-17 (34x12.00).
