Wild country vs. Long trail BFG`s

Well, I have a chance to trade my BFG Long Trails for some Wild Country RVT's. I want a more aggressive tire than the Trails and can handle some noise but winter is here and don`t want to make a mistake by trading if the trails will do better in the snow? No snow yet though, so I tried them in mud today and seemed to do ok but didnt clean out well. I know the Wild Country will performe in the mud but with no sipping I am affraid the slick stuff will send me kicking myself in the rear! I could possibly get the center tread sipped but don't know if anyone does that around here or do it myself. He wants quiter tires and they are mounted on the same rim, his truck being a 01 Lariat 4x4, so switching would be a snap. My tires are like new and his probably 80-90% on he front and 90-95% tread left on rear. He said he would give me some differnce in cash, work something out. So my question is, anyone had both of these tires, should I swap?
Also, the tires are the same size and the Wild Countrys are actually made by Cooper (looks like the BFG mud) Here is a comparison below.

First is the "Long Trail", second the 'Wild Country" and just for kicks the last picture is the "BFG muds".
