i am looking for 35 inch tires on 17 inch stock 04' fx4 rims that have good road manners and also a good tread for off roading??? does anybody know what my ideal tire would be?? i liked the kumho mud terrain kl71's but they didnt make them for a 17 inch rim

BFG AT KO, Pro Comp XTreme AT, Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ. Just some suggestions, all are AT's and less aggressive than an MT but are capable off-road.

I just put some Bridgestone Dueler APT III's on my rig. Tread is mild to moderate aggressive, little to no road noise, 60,000 mile tread warranty. I have pics in my gallery. Truck seems to ride better than with the old tires.

Might want to check out Wrangler MT/Rs. They have great tread life and do great on the road.

Check out these Maxxis Buckshots. They are a great tire for a MT. They wear great and handle very well, even in the rain. The biggest they have is a 305/70/17 which is a 34".
