What tire do I need ?
Hi guys I would appreciate any help that I cn get on this question that I have. I have a 03 f150 sport 2x4 with 285/50r20 good year tires. I want to go to a 17" or 18" wheel for more quality ride. I would like to put 265/70r17 on my truck with 17x8 wheels.
Looking at the pro comp 1059 or 1079 wheels and general grabber at2 tires. Driving on road 90% I live in FL so need wet traction and sometimes have to drive through minor off road situations.
Any suggestions?

I don't think you can beat the Michelin LTX M/S for ride, traction, and longevity. Great traction in wet weather, very smooth, and go about 65,000 miles or further if you rotate often. I am on my third set. One on a Silverado, one on an expedition and now the 265/70/17s on my F-150.
