Exclamation New Guys Tire ?s

Hey guys I'm new to the website and I need some help. This is actually my first post. I buying an 07 F150 4X4 SuperCrew XLT this week. I've always been a Chevy guy and this will be my first Ford. I've been looking at new tires and wheels. I think I've settled on the Nitto Terra Grappler LT325/60/R18 with an American Racing wheel b/c of the pictures on this website. My questions are about the leveling kit. They say the new Fords come with torsion bars. So would there be any reason to mess with the kit or would the tires fit fine if I just raised the torsion bars. Second ? The Nittos that I've seen stick out too far from the truck. On the pictures I've seen on this site your guys tires sit flush with the truck. That is how I want mine to look. Do you get that look with the offset in the wheel or is it a tire size thing. Thanks for the help fellas.

The 04-07 F-150's have coilover shocks, not torsion bars. You can fit a 325/60-18 on an 18x9 inch wheel by using a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit. The reason some of the tires you see stick out is because of the backspacing/offset of the wheels. If you don't want them to stick way out, I'd suggest a 9 inch wide wheel with 5.5 or 6 inches of backspacing.
