Question on How big

can i go?

yes i am about ot buy my dads 98 4x4 F150 5.4 v8 with full towing package! It was one of his company trucks he has put new tires and headlights on it and he is about to sell it to me for $3,000! He paid $2,000 for it so im sure this will be a good beater to get threw the snow! He said it rides ruff because it has 3/4 ton rear setup and torsion bars are jacked up in the front
here are some pics of it.

I would like to put some 10inch wide wheels on it and some bigger tires. Will 33x12.5 fit and not rub?

i dont think theyll fit without some sort of lift, i know 33s will fit on stock wheels
wandell should be able to help you
but imo you should add a body lift & then they would fit no problem & look great at the same time
heres my truck with a body lift & 33s on stock wheels

Did you say that hepaid 2,000 and is selling it to you for 3,000, eh, your dad ripping you off, or is he factoring in the new tires and headlights

Yes, you can fit a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) on a 16x10 inch wheel. You will have to trim a little plastic off your front bumper's lower valance for clearance.

yeah he paid $2,000 for it in bad shape it was one of is companys trucks and put alot of work in it! 4 new tires, New headlights, changed all the fluids, trans, motor, rear end and more, Cleaned everything under the truck and painted it black. So i Think $3,000 is a good deal when he can sell it to anyone else for over $6,000
