tire size question

tire size question

I have a 98 expedition, I currently have 255/70/16 on the truck now. I can get a great deal on some 235/70/16, will these tires fit without any issues.

yeah they'll fit but they are gonna a good deal smaller.

They'll fit, but will be a fair amount skinnier and shorter. Keep in mind that the profile refers to the percentage of the section width, so a wider 70 series tire will be taller than a skinny one.
