Question brake help??????????????

Im replacing the front rotors on my 1992 f150 2wd what all parts do i need to replace the odds and ends (seals, bearings etc.) of the assembly??

I would definetely repack the bearings with grease (a give in) after a thorough inspection. Ask you're parts guy, or just see yourself what's needed because usually all I ever had to do was repack the bearings, the seals, races, etc were always good. The only time I replaced everything was the disc swap on my 64 Galaxie because everything was crap and cheap enough to replace, just start brand new.

If the rotors are gone, you should be able to buy them "loaded" with packed bearings & seals preinstalled. If your rotors are OK, you won't need to mess with the bearings or seals. Just pull the calipers & swap the pads.

You can get a few pointers by clicking my signature link & looking in the Brakes & Hubs album, but it's geared more towards 4WD trucks. The calipers mount the same, though.
