My buddy gave me a set of stock 04 Lariat rims and I would like to put them on my 06 XLT. One difference is the Lariat rims are 18 inch and teh stock XLT rims are 17 inch. Another is the tires; Xlt came with Hankook and the Lariat with BFG. Thansk for the help!

 

As long as the 04 was not the Heritage edition, then they will work just fine.

 

I think in either 05 or 06 ford went from a five lug wheel to a six lug wheel. The 06 wheels are probably six lug. I think the 04 truck is a five lug hub... BE

 

The 04 Heritage (looks like the 97-03 models) had the 5 lug. The 04 up have 6x135mm lugs.

HawaiiF150, they will fit just fine. The only Lariat made for 04 was the new model. The only thing you may want to think about is getting the computer reprogrammed for the new size tires. Otherwise your speedometer will be of, by how much depend upon the size of tire you have on now. The 18" tires are basically 32" in diameter.
