I've heard a lot of positive reviews on the Buckshot Mudders.

Really? I was under the impression the Maxis tires were pretty inexpensive, at least the Buckshot Mudders.

I was looking for some 315/75r16 and I found that the maxxis tires were pretty cheap! I have heard good things about them but just wanted to know what everyone else knew! Besides the Maxxis tires what do yall recommened as far a tire that pretty aggressive but lasts awhile!

I have 305/70/17 buckshot mudders. They ride good they start humming at 45 mph. They were tire, mount, and balance at $765.

Buckshots are some of the cheapest around here. I know a guy who has had them for ~40-45k with no rotate or balance. They are suprisingly well behaved in the rain also. I've never seen the Bighorn in person. $400-$500 a set installed round here.

I run the 305/70/17 buckshots and I love them. They may not get the mileage that you can get out of the BFG's but from experience they pull in mud a HECK of a lot better and arent that bad on the highway. And at under $800 for them mounted and balanced you can't beat it. They ride pretty rough since they are a 10 ply tire but most mud tires do ride pretty rough.

OMG! I have had both the BFG all terrain and maxxis bighorns. There is no comparison. The BFG's look nice....in the beginning, but they wear wayyy too fast.

The maxxis is the way to go, extremely well behaved on the road and great off road. Wear is also very very good for such a lugged out tire.

Plus, I don't think they were overly too expensive than the BFG would be anyways.

????

I run Maxxis on the MTB.

Anyways, have seen good reviews myself and they are considered at least in the MTB world one of the most high quality tires. A MTB tire runs around $65

A truck tire is very little more depending on size.

Try ntwonline.com
You can get a set super cheap.

They are amazingly cheap.
