I need to know the rims width and backspacing, i tried to measure it and got 4.5 to 4 and 5/8, and 8 inches wide, but i am not sure how accurate I am
please let me know i am trying to do either the procomp 3" lift of fabtech 3.5" kit for my 2002 2wd supercab. i really want to try and clear 33x12.5R17s or 285x70R17 and dont know if my rims will work. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, all of the 17 inch wheels available on 97-03 F-150's are 7.5 inches wide.

I have an 03' FX4 SCREW. I just put BFG A/T's (pic's will be along soon, just washed er' up for them), 285/70/17's on 17x9 Mickey T Classic II's. I had to tweak the torsion bars a half inch, and shave a tiny, unnoticable amount off the front valance because of the 9 inch wide wheels, but no rubbing now. They will fit on the stock 17x7.5's without rubbing.

Oh sorry, duh, just noticed that you said you have FX4 wheels on a 4x2....not sure about that, but I'm sure you could fit em under that lift.
