Thumbs up About Time!

I have an '02 FX4 and over the last 6 months have been noticing a little "bounce" while stopping, and I've already had my rotors turned once, so thanks to this board and those who recommended Rotorpros, I got myself 4 new drilled and slotted rotors and new EBC "Green Stuff" pads, and I'm proud to say, again with the help of this board, that I did the job myself! I would never have known to whack the **** out of my old rotors to get them to come off.

You see, I had over 71,000 miles on these rotors and pads, and yup, the original tires (GoodYear Wranglers) too. Did some research and found that many folks didn't care for the GoodYears, and getting some good feedback on the BFG Radial Long Trail T/A's, decided to get the "new meats" mounted at my local SAM's Club.

So, when I get these improvements, I decide "you know, I haven't detailed the truck in a while...", and the new tires and rotors just didn't look right on a dirty truck. "Got 'er done" today, and you all know how good it feels and the satisfaction we get from detailing our trucks...feeling pretty good right now!

Pic of my '02 FX4 and my '02 DL1000 Suzuki VStrom (Did I tell you I like Blue?)

Spiffed up the engine compartment as well...

Thanks for looking

Good to hear, although there is a bike in the way of viewing that good looking truck.

You made a good choice though. Were the rotors zinc plated?
