tires for sand/mud, more so for sand

i am looking for a good tire to get me through dry sand (sugar sand) and for mud, i would like to get trough sand more so because there is tons of that crap down here in Florida, the state is pratically made of it!

i would also like it to fit my 2003 F-150 FX4 supercrew

thank you

Most any wide all terrian tire will work great in sand. If you are concerned about mud performance also, go with an aggressive all terrian tire like the BFG AT KO or a milder mud terrian like the BFG MT KM.

Baja Claw! Self cleaning in the mud. Just go easy on them in the sand. Nothing will climb a hill like a Claw compared to the the Terra Grappler.

I can't comment on the Dune Grappler.

When I was a teenager down in Florida everyone liked the Mickey Thompson Baja Belted's for sand, because they were nice and wide, and they had that sidewall that bit into sand pretty well. I do recall some saying they weren't that good in the mud, but they worked well in ruts because of that sidewall.

I don't know if these tires are still around, or how they stack up to the new design's out there.

aaaaaahhhhhhhh!

so that means that there really isnt a good tire for both sand and mud, one of them has to comprimise (my spelling sucks)

also wandell your truck looks awsome, and it is very similar to mine. can you tell me what type of body lift that is (brand) and how did you install it, also how is the ride quality and why did you cut of the hooks on the front?

thank you
