Back spacing

Hello everyone Im new to this forum.I have been told that if I want to put aftermarket wheels on my 04 FX4 that they need 5 inches of backspacing (min).I have the 2.5 inch leveling kit on and would like to put on 325/65/18 Nitto Terra grapplers on my truck.Does that sound right?

Stock comes with 5.5" of backspace. You want to stay as close to that as possible.

Right. 5.5 inches of backspacing would be best. Also, you can't fit 325/65-18's (35x13.00) with just a leveling kit unless you use the OEM wheels, which are too narrow for a 325mm wide tire. You will be able to fit a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) however.
