33s with stock rims?

Hey y'all I'm new to the forum so please don't yell at me right away. Ive been looking at all the posts concerning tires and leveling kits and what-have-you and I know it's highly discussed topic but I want confirmation. I'm going to be installing the 2" Auto-Spring leveling spacer on my '05 STX 4x4. I want to go with 33 inch mud-terrains. My question is do I actually need to get new rims to fit these 33s? I dont think I have to but I was wondering your opinions. I have seen some posts stating that after the leveling kit you can fit 33s on offset rims and 35s on OEM rims. I think 35s are a little rediculous for a leveling kit and need an actual suspension kit before putting those bad boys on hence the reason I'm staying with 33s. So, can I use my stock rims with the 33s or do I need to get new rims with an offset? Any advice would help. Thanks guys

No, you don't need new rims for 33's. They'll fit absolutely fine with the leveling kit (just watch the width of your tire...a 326/60-18 might be a touch wide for your stock rim). You can fit 285/65-18's (32.6ish) without the leveling kit on the 4x4 with stock wheels.

Yes, it will work. My buddy has an FX4 with a 2" leveling kit and he has 33"/12.5" Super Swampers on stock rims.
