Im looking to get a pretty mean looking 33 inch tire. The truck is a 98 f150 4wd with cranked torsion bars and trimmed valance.


Im not going to do "spin outs" or squeak the tires at all.

How many miles can I expect to get from a MT Baja Claw, MTZ, or Irok type tire??? I will ONLY being driving on pavement. Yes, I know it is a driveway queen.

Ive heard everywhere from 6000 to 40000.

I dont drive alot, maybe like 400 miles a month.

 

I wouldnt even get the Irok if you want miles. If you keep the Claw radials balanced/rotated you will get around 40,000. Dont know about the MTZ's havent been out that long to really know.

 

Read one review on the mtz - 33,000 and over half tread left. Thats what Im going with. A friend is getting Atz's.

 

Yeah, Swampers don't have a great reputation for tread life.

 

I recommend BFG A/T ko. I just got a set on and they are badass. Beefy looking but not a noisy mud tire.
