early in the morning when i first apply pressure to my brakes i feel no resistance and then i seem to hit a brick wall almost, and they lock up.

is anyone aware of a sollution to this? im open to anyones opinions

 

my ranger used to do that. i always just assumed the rotors got a little dew on them overnight and got a little surface rust. could also be alot of brake dust buildup in the rear drums???? oil in drums?(axle seal?) just some possible clueless ideas....
