Exclamation Removing Front Pads? (Need quick help!)

OK, so I've got my 2000 Navigator up, I'm relpacing the front pads today, but I must be an idiot. I can't figure out how to get the pads out! I've got the caliper off the rotor (just the two bolts on the rear side of it) and now for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the pads out and the new ones in. Unlike most normal pads that just push and pop out, these look like they need to slide in, but I can't see what needs to come for that to happen. The ends of them are slotted, so I can't see what needs to come off. Please help!
