I'd be looking at a 33" tire with a 2" leveling kit. I'm guessing the only cons of the 20" would be cost? Maybe a little harsher ride?
What do you guys think?

the 20's will look better but like wandell said you wont have as much protection for the rims. If all your worried about is cost go ahead and get the 20's, tires for the 18's are pretty expensive also so why not go ahead and go with the 20's.
That's why I was leaning toward 20's. In all reality, I won't be hammering this truck offroad. I love it too much and its far to new. It will see some dirt and gravel on the way to fishing holes up here in AK and some snow and ice in the winter, but no serious offroading. I have a Polaris Ranger for that

I'm in the very same boat, torn between 18's or 20's. I have decided to wait unil my OEM tires get used up, but if I don't think I will go larger than 33's I'm going to highly likely get 18" wheels for the larger side wall. I have seen some 20X10's with 33's that I do really, really like though......
