33's on 20's??
33's on 20's??
wassup guys, i'm new on this board and i have a question. i'm getting 20's put on my 06 F-150 FX4 and i want to get some 33's in a mud terrian. i like the nitto mud grappler but i've heard it's a noisey tire. in ur opinion, what is the best tire with an aggressive thread but with minimal road noise?? any info helps. thanks.
to put it best those 2 things go hand in hand. if you want an agressive tire your going to haveto deal with a little road noise. you cant get the best of both worlds but the toyo open country MT is probably the least noisy from my experience.
onsracing....
If you are wanting to preserve your quiet ride you are going to need to stay with an A/T although I will say that Toyo Open Country M/T's are the most civil M/T I've seen (had the 38x15.5r20 on an 02 F-250). These 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers were what I originally had on my truck, but then switched for the 37" version...both have given me an excellent ride and the nice off-road look your searching for. Just my recommendations.

Actually I still have the things...if anyone is looking for a good set of wheels and tires. Only had 1k miles on them. It's a Weld EVO Commando XT 20x9.5

Tempting...but I'm trying to move the wheels w/the tires...they are balanced and everything...ready to go on the truck. I even have a leveling kit I would throw in: great deal for someone who wants the total package. When I got my 37's I went through Discount Tire and they seemed to have pretty good price as well as having them in-stock. Good luck man!
Yeah I live in Cincinnati, called the Dayton store on a friday and picked them up on Saturday...The order time thing is the reason I went with Nitto's the Toyo's were just so far on back order I didn't think I would ever get them.

everyone here has to order them, 3-10 days.
