04 fx4. did searches just get confused cant ever keep this straight. stock is 5.5? so 4.5 on a 17x10 would stick out a few inches? smaller number = stick out? thanks. just dont want to order a wheel and be tucking.

 

That setup, if I'm not mistaken, would stick out approx 3.5 inches farther than your stock 7.5" wide wheel with 5.5" BS.

Right. Those will stick out 3.5 inches farther than your OEM wheels. I'd suggest finding a wheel with a lot more backspacing. The 18x10 Mickey Thompson Classic II's have 6 inches of backspacing.
