'97 bolt pattern / '05 4X4

Does anyone know (Wandell) if the bolt pattern for 1997 2wd F150 wheels, will fit a '05 4x4 F150. I've got almost brand new winter tires on steel wheels from my '97. I'd like to use them this winter to save the alum wheels on my '05 4wd F150.
I saw on a 2004 post that Wandell said 97-03 F150's all had the same bolt pattern. What about the '05's??
What about 4x4's versus 4x2's??

If I'm not mistaken, the 97 is a 5x135mm, and the 05 is a 6x135mm pattern...so there is no way.

You are not mistaken. They will not fit.

Mange is right. THe 97-03 4x4's and 4x2's use the 5x135mm bolt pattern while the 04-07 4x4's and 4x2's use the new 6x135mm bolt pattern.
