I have a 2001 Supercrew and there are times when I push down on the brake pedal I can feel and hear a "swooshing" and "creaking" sound. It only happens occasionally. Any ideas? I believe it is something other than the brakes.

 

Normal. It is the power brake booster up under the dash.
