Question Newbie in distress

I'm currently in Iraq and also purchasing a 2007 F-150 XLT Crewcab when I return, well I want to put bigger rims on the truck, any suggestion on what size rims and tires that I can put on the truck without making any modifications?

2wd or 4wd? What look are you going for?

Right. Do you want an off road or street look?

Well, you have a lot of options there. If you don't REALLY want to modify the suspension, but want an aggressive street look...Ground Force makes the most popular lowering shackle for the rear. All this does is remove the raked look.

As for wheels and tires, that depends largely on taste and $$$

You can go with 22x9.5 and then some 305/45/22 tires with the drop shackle and it will fill the wheel well pretty nicely, and give a great, aggressive street look.

Or, if you don't feel like spending $2,400~ you can try some 18s or 20s and then some 33x11.50~ street tires instead.

Personally, I'd go with a 22 inch wheel and a 305/40-22 or 305/45-22 tire. They will look a lot better if you install a set of lowering shackels on the rear. If your budget allows it, a set of 24's with 305/35-24's will look sweet also.
