Anyone with this setup?

I have an 01 supercrew 4x4. I want to run 285/70/17. Can I run these on a stock everything truck or do I have to crank the torsion bars a little? Is cranking the t bars the best route to get a little more room?
Also, how do I correct the speedo after the new tires are on?
Thanks for the help!

285/70/17...

They will fit fine. No need to crank the T-Bars unless you just want to level the truck up some. I run that size on mine and have'nt had any rubbing issues.

Those will fit a stock truck fine, although it would look a little better if you crank the torsion bars and level out the truck (IMO).

Also, to correct for the taller tires, most tuners/programmers can correct the PCM for that. If you dont want to buy a tuner, the dealership can do it but they usually charge an insane amount of money for it (its worth calling and getting a quote for it though).

I've got that setup, they fit great, I plan on cranking my t-bars at some point just hadn't got around to it yet. I took mine to the local dealership and they corrected the speedo for $30. They cant go all the way up to a 33'' because its not an option on the computer but they can correct it up. Just an option, it helps, many people dont ever even correct at all.

Good deal! Ill crank the t bars to level the truck. I hate the forward lean look, but thats my opinion. Thanks for the replies.
