biggest tires on stock

Smile biggest tires on stock

i have a 1998 4wd xcab lariatand I am looking in to finding a good AT or MT and was wondering what the biggest size tire i can fit on the stock wheels aswell as what can fit in the wheel well

Welcome to the site! As a general rule on 97-03 4x4's, you can stuff 35x12.50's on them by using the OEM wheels or you can run a 33x12.50 on wider aftermarket wheels. Personally, I think 33's on 10 inch wide aftermarket wheels looks the best.

You would need to crank the torsion bars, and probably do a little trimming, but nothing major.
Also depends on how wide of a tire you run (33x11.5 vs 33x12.5)

Right. You will have to trim a little plastic off the corner of the front bumper's lower valance.

ok so what i understand is that if i run 35s on oem they will fit with no rub but if i run 33s on a wider wheel i will need to do some triming i am about to tighten the torshion bars up this weekend (just adding if that helps you explain it to me any better) thanks a lot for everyones help

I just installed a set of 265/70/17 LT, E rated BF Goodrich Rugged Trails for $168 each, out the door here in Tucson at Discount Tire. They are a Boss tire!! Fills the wheel well very nicely but doesn't rub.
