New brake lines needed for 3" fabtech lift?

I've done some searching and can't seem to find the answer I need.

I've got a 97 2wd scab and I plan to put the fabtech 3 inch spindle lift on it. I also want to upgrade to stainless brake lines front and rear. I have not been able to find brake lines for 4wd and am hoping I don't need them.

Question is: From my understanding the Fabtech spindle lift just mounts your tires lower, everything else really remains the same, there is no need to change brake lines, correct?

If everything remains the same, why are new shocks reccomended?

If It Drops The SpindLE It Will Drop The Caliper As Well. You Will Need To Lengthen Your Brake Lines.
