which tire???

hey yall, im new here and jus got my 1st truck, F-150 4x4, shortwheelbase, manual trans, straight 6, and im gonna lift it and put 35x12.50-15s on it but dont know which tire to get. im gonna be drivin back and forth to school everyday, but i want a tire that will do good in mud, i dont like gettin stuck and then somebody goin right through the hole i was stuck in, i like them to hum and i have decided on either mickey thompson ATZs or MTZs, i like both but i also like the buckshots (what i have now). im a teenager and really dont care that much about how ruff they are. mostly want to look good (to impress da ladies) , be able to make it through the mud, pull people out, and i want ppl to when i pass. what do yall recomend??? any input is appreciated. thanks.

BFG Mud Terrains would be hard to beat, they look sweet and are great in the mud from reviews I have read. Also, the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R is a sweet looking tire. From everything I have heard they are two of the longer lasting mud tires as well. The Mickey Thompson MTZ's look great too and come from a proven company so they cant be bad either....Just take a look and pick your favorite.....Good luck man..

I love my BFG Mud-terrains they look good and they play in the mud even better, but there is mud deep enough to get stuck in no matter what tire you run

Good luck running 35s with the straight 6. Unless you regear the power and gas mileage are going to be terrible on that truck. Also since the truck has some age on it that big a tire is definitely going to put some strain on the transmission and steering components. I had a 91 with the straight six. I had a four inch lift with 33's and it performed well. A buddy of mine in high school had the same truck with 35's and he hated it. Just my two cents, but some things to consider.
