how to get 22 to tuck

how to get 22 to tuck

i have a 05 screw and ive had a set of 22's and a set of 24's and both sets stick outside the fenderwell about 2 inches in the front has anyone else had this prob if soo please tell me whats the right offset to not have this happen all the tire shops say its a high offset like a +35 or +42 but is this correct

The 22x9.5 inch Eagle's on my Expy have 6.7 inches of backspacing and they are just about even with the edge of the fender flares.

take your truck to a nice custom shop and they should have a tool to mount to the hub to tell you exactly what backspacing you would need to get that rim to fit...i'm not sure what this tool is called, but it's really cool to see how it works, so make sure you're there to see them do it...our local tire shop in lexington has one...you tell them what you want out of your tires and they tell you what to buy to get that..._motes
